The intent was to create an art center consisting of a repeated structural bay made up of five fragments. Through these fragments the spatial bays were able to be repeated and manipulated to create a spatial sequence. Interior and exterior arrangement was considered to engage the community on the site. The site is located in Knoxville at the University of Tennessee campus on what is a current parking lot.
